After her successful return in the pages of Young Justice, the new Amethyst miniseries follows teenager Amy Winston, also known as Princess Amethyst, as she goes back to her magical kingdom to celebrate her 16th birthday in style. However, there's a major issue: her kingdom is nowhere to be found, her subjects have disappeared, and even her best friend, Lady Turquoise, no longer remains loyal to her house in the realm of Gemworld! Feeling isolated and disheartened, Amy is compelled to seek new allies and confront dark secrets on an all-new quest to the farthest corners of Gemworld.
